Dear Friends,
Hurricane Sandy has come and gone and thankfully we woke up to blue skies and sunshine. Thank you for having us in your thoughts and we look forward to your clients’ arrival.
Just a few updates :
- Hurricane Sandy made landfall on the southeastern side of the island, which was affected the most by the storm. At this time, no hotels in the resort areas of Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Negril, or the South Coast have reported structural damage.
- Jamaica is reporting that its two major airports, Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) in Kingston and Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, are now open and have resumed flight service.
- Roads are clear to airports and to hotels in Kingston, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Negril and the South Coast.
- Certain locations where power outages occurred are now being restored.
- Attraction operators are cleaning up and preparing to reopen.
- All ports, including Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, and the Historic Falmouth cruise port, are also operational.
- The island is being restored to normalcy following rain and winds from Hurricane Sandy. The highways throughout the country are now open and people are going about business as usual.
We thank you for your continued support and always making it JAMAICA!!!

Whether it was 50 bucks being sent to me at school, traveling through a snowstorm to see me play, coming to a football game in high school, all those things gave me a sense of love and belief and those things inspired confidence.
